Sylvania Waters – Complete Renovation & External Upgrade on Water front Site

A comprehensive renovation that transformed the home inside and out, combining new kitchens, bathrooms and stairs with major window, balcony, structural and external upgrades.

The Sylvania Waters project, backing onto the area’s well-known canal system, included new kitchens, bathrooms and internal stairs, together with new windows throughout the home.The rear family room was also opened up with a substantial steel beam and new stacker doors connecting the interior more directly with the backyard.

Both the front and rear balconies required major rebuilding. The front was replaced with a new timber balcony, while the rear was rebuilt in concrete with new concrete stairs.

Externally, the house was re-rendered and the front elevation was updated with a stacked-stone feature. The driveway was resurfaced and additional landscaping completed to improve the overall presentation of the property.

Coordinating structural, internal and external upgrades

The project combined internal renovation with substantial structural and external work, including the new steel opening to the rear family room and the complete rebuilding of deteriorated balcony areas.

The new windows, rendered exterior and stacked-stone feature helped give the home a much more modern appearance, while the upgraded rear opening improved the connection between the living areas and the backyard.

The result was a complete refresh of the property, improving both the internal spaces and the overall street and rear presentation of the home.
